The last thing you want when you are on a trip is getting sick.
Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened to me when I was in KL.

That’s totally not cool!
Just imagine driving around the city and having gatherings when you are sick.
How do you like it?

Now that CNY is over and there are no more gatherings in the near future, it’s time to recuperate from sickness and weariness.
Let’s hope the medicines I got from the doctor are effective.

Why???

I am still having cough.
I don’t get it.
I have stopped consuming cold drinks and fried food for two weeks, but this didn’t help at all.
The following is a list of cold drinks and fried food that I was forced to avoid:
Iced mocha
Java Chip Frappuccino
Iced coffee
Soda (Mountain Dew, Sprite, root bear, etc.)
Soy milk
Burgers
Bacon
Cheese rangoon
Chicken egg roll
Orange chicken
Beijing beef
Fried chicken
Fries

I have some Starbucks Double Shot and mocha in my fridge.
Every time I want to drink them, I actually use the microwave to heat them up.
How pathetic!

Also, I haven’t been to McDonald’s by myself for so long.
The three items in my usual combination – McChicken, McDouble, and iced coffee – are all unacceptable at this time.
How sad!

What should I do now?

My Fall Break

Closing my blog has made some friends worry about me, and some friends not able to access my blog because they don’t have WordPress accounts.
Therefore, I have decided to reopen my blog to public.
In the future, I guess I will just put passwords on any posts that I don’t want others to read.

As you may have known, I was asked to isolate myself from public because I have got H1N1.
By isolate, I don’t think it means I have to keep myself in quarantine.
Quarantine sounds much more serious than isolate.
But then, I don’t see any difference in their meanings.

After much consideration, I decided to follow the instructions given by the nurse, i.e. do not go to class and work, for the following two reasons:
1) I don’t want to infect other people, particularly oliver, yee gin, and ivie, whom I meet very often.
2) It is not easy to get a legitimate reason to skip class and work. Therefore, I should treasure this opportunity.

I hereby thank all the friends who sent their regards either on Facebook, on MSN, or through phone call.
I am fine.
I expect myself to recover very soon.
Guys, take care! Don’t fall sick!

Here begins my “Fall break.”

Alright, it’s Sunday night. Let’s see what I have done these two days.

I had a great workout on Saturday. It was great because:
1) I didn’t sweat much as it wasn’t very hot. I hate sweating!
2) It wasn’t crowded in the gym, and hence I didn’t need to waste my time lining up for equipment.
More importantly, I always feel great after I have a great workout.

As for today, I went to Borders again like last Sunday.
I spent one and a half hours at Borders drinking mocha and reading TIME.
It was indeed a very relaxing afternoon.
I also had dinner with jenn at New China afterwards.
New China is always my favorite restaurant.

On another note, I believe those of you who have been to the new Wal-Mart know that there is a blood pressure monitoring station in there.
Today I used it to check my blood pressure.
Well, the result was bad; it said I was at Hypertension Stage 1. WTH!!!
I think I am gonna request for a checkup this week at Health Center.
Sigh…
